• Adalia Rao

• Ananya Shah

  Ananya is a current senior at Edgemont High School. She has presented her research on gerrymandering (https://arxiv.org/pdf/2506.13997) at three graduate conferences: 39th Summer Topology and Its Applications Conference, 57th Annual Northeastern Political Science Association Meeting & Social Choice: Theory and Computation - Poster Session. She is also a Congressional App Challenge Winner, (NY-16, 2023), Regeneron STS Top 300 Scholar, and NCWiT Aspirations in Computing High School National Winner. Her research is supported by the Carnegie Corporation and the Carnegie Young Leaders Fellowship. Ananya plans to study computational biology and political science in college, aiming to apply data science to biological and political systems.

• Aria Wang

  Aria is an 8th grader who loves word games and the connections they create. She enjoys bringing her family together for “game nights,” where favorites like Hangman, Mad Libs, and Telephone spark laughter, creativity, and unexpected discoveries. Through these simple games, Aria believes families can learn more about one another, strengthen their bonds, and turn ordinary moments into memorable experiences.

  She is a Mathlete, a Science Olympiad competitor, and a varsity swimmer who enjoys music and is fascinated by technology. She loves the wonders of life and the beauty of nature. She hopes to grow into someone who can help make the world a better place. Emily will be talking about the usage of phones, AI, and "technology of youth today and tomorrow".

• Nirali Yedendra

  Nirali Yedendra is a seventh-grade student who enjoys reading, writing, and exploring big ideas about identity, culture, and how people understand one another. She is curious about how people think, communicate, and see the world differently. Nirali loves playing guitar, watching anime, playing games, and listening to many different kinds of music. She also enjoys spending time with her tuxedo cat. Nirali enjoys reflecting on thoughtful questions and sharing ideas through writing and speaking. In her talk, “When Listening Isn’t Enough,” Nirali explores the difference between hearing someone’s words and truly understanding their meaning. Through a personal story about a letter from a friend, she reflects on how conversations can change when people focus on correcting rather than understanding.
