‘Morse Code’ is an invitation to explore how meaning emerges from the signals that shape our lives. Inspired by the historic communication system in which simple dots and dashes can unlock entire messages, this theme celebrates the human instinct to decode—to search for patterns, connections, and direction within fragments of information.
Life is filled with signals. Some arrive clearly, while others are obscured by noise, uncertainty, or chance. Moments that seem random: unexpected encounters, challenges, discoveries, and turning points, often carry meaning that only becomes visible when we step back and begin to interpret the patterns they form.
This conference asks us to reflect on how we make sense of the world around us. How do we interpret the signals we encounter? How do we transform scattered pieces of information into understanding? And how do we find direction in moments that initially appear uncertain or chaotic?
At its core, this theme explores the relationship between pattern and randomness. Sometimes patterns reveal hidden structure; other times they challenge us to question what we believe we understand. The act of decoding: whether in science, technology,
storytelling, or human experience, allows us to uncover insights that might otherwise remain unseen.
