TEDxKYAL Youth

Contrary to popular belief, great transformations do not stem from daunting, giant leaps, but often from a tiny, unnoticed spark. "One Spark Away" is a powerful expression reminding us just how close we actually are to our true potential and profound change. We are all on a journey shaped by our motivations, beliefs, and the world around us. Throughout life, we encounter many crossroads. Sometimes, the moments or people we face seem overly large, complex, or distant. There are times we hesitate to take a step even when we know what we should do, and times we stand on the very edge of change without even realizing it. Yet, transformation is never out of reach; sometimes it simply relies on a single moment of courage, a spoken word, or a fleeting idea. Most of the time, what alters our direction isn't a massive decision, but that seemingly ordinary little moment that awakens something deep within us. With this theme, our goal is to draw inspiration from the impactful moments that guided, paused, and propelled our esteemed speakers on their own journeys. The stories shared on the TEDxKYAL Youth stage will not only recount these turning points but also offer the audience a completely new perspective to help them discover and ignite their own inner spark.
