TEDxAbbey Park HS Youth

On a stage capable of fielding and embracing the plethora of personally-entangled, defining experiences, TEDxAbbey Park HS Youth will illuminate the unalloyed perspectives of tackling the black-and-white; the thinking that inhibits the sparks of creativity and plagues interpersonal connections. Each talk explores the rigid nature of binaries in a world of right against wrong, success against failure, and yes against no, with each possessing greater tendencies to limit understanding and growth. Spanning a full day from morning into the afternoon, the event will invite attendees into a captivating, immersive experience, featuring a thought-provoking, interactive installation at the entrance. Complimentarily, the latter is followed by a series of dynamic, youth-led talks, musical entertainment during intermissions, as well as food generously provided by various sponsors. The amenities and event programming will elevate the connective experience of the TED atmosphere, enabling a space for both introspection and meaningful connection. From the deepest intricacies of technology to the natural world, this event will encourage embracing uncertainty as a catalyst for innovation, connection, and ever-propagating change.
