TEDxUniversity of Manchester

In an increasingly interconnected world, differences — in background, belief, discipline, and experience — can either divide or unite us. TEDxUniversity of Manchester 2026: “Weaving Differences into Strength” celebrates the power of diversity as a catalyst for creativity, innovation, and understanding. Just as threads of varying colours and textures come together to form a strong fabric, our differences form the foundation of progress. This event will showcase voices that represent unique “threads”, each contributing to a stronger, more inclusive global community. This event aimed to be unconventional, by platforming speakers from various backgrounds and at the same time collaborating with other student societies at the University of Manchester to showcase cultural performances, as diversity should be heard and seen at the same time, elevating the experience of attendees.
