Growth happens quietly — through challenges, choices, questions, mistakes, and moments that slowly shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Like a mosaic made of many different pieces, every story, every experience, and every stage of life becomes part of who we are.

  • Andy Wang

    High School Student

An IB student with a deep curiosity for the physical world and a passion for creative expression. My academic focus in physics is complemented by my love for public speaking, where I enjoy translating complex ideas into engaging narratives. Beyond the classroom, I am a part-time athlete who plays badminton and ultimate frisbee, which values both discipline and teamwork on the field. In arts and music, I find balance and inspiration. I am eager to bring this blend of critical thinking, communication, and collaborative energy to the society.

  • Elina Ng

    HS Teacher (Business & Economics)

My journey into education began with a vibrant group of 6th and 7th-grade students, where I discovered my teaching philosophy: "Love First, then teach." Caring for my students empowers me to design dynamic, student-centered learning spaces where each individual can thrive. My mission is to ignite a genuine passion for learning. This "love first" approach extends to the subjects I teach, from middle school math and science to high school Business and Economics. I love bridging the gap between textbook theories and real-world impact. Speaking at TEDx Students under the theme "Mosaic of Becoming," I shared my insights on the power of BELIEVE and how our inner convictions give us energy — whether draining, grounding, or elevating. My belief in my students empowers me to see their potential and goodness, while their belief in me helps create an impactful learning environment. Each day, I look forward to interacting, growing, and glowing alongside the future leaders I am privileged to teach.
