The theme for this year’s TEDxCCET is DAUNT∅ (Dauntless), symbolizing the journey of redesigning fear and redefining the future. "Daunt," which means fear that holds us back, and "∅" (null), which indicates erasing the limitations and starting from scratch. The combination of these two literals showcases the power to reframe fear and transform it into a force that reshapes the future. Fear is a destined phase in everyone's life. DAUNT∅ highlights that fear is not a final thought but rather a transition that has the potential capability to be reset, rewritten and reimagined via courage and clarity. People gain the freedom to invent, innovate, grow and move forward without constraining themselves only by lowering their fear to zero. The theme DAUNT∅ encourages an explorative and diverse journey across dimensions, recognizing that growth is slow, iterative and constructed through challenges by undertaking consistency. The key motive is to address the actual fear rather than avoiding it. DAUNT∅ encourages ideas that surpass boundaries and recalibrate what lies ahead. On the TEDxCCET platform, speakers from various fields express their vision under a unified framework for this event. By sharing their thoughts and insights, they help expand our understanding and inspire collective learning.

  • Adv. Jince T Thomas

    Jince T Thomas, popularly known as CYBER JINCE, is one of Kerala’s foremost voices at the intersection of cybersecurity, law, and digital justice. An Advocate at the High Court of Kerala and an Honorary Assistant Commander with Kerala Police Cyberdome, he brings nearly a decade of frontline experience in combating cybercrime, financial fraud, digital piracy, and technology-driven offenses. Blending legal expertise with hands-on cyber operations, Jince has led complex investigations, advised law enforcement and corporations, and helped shape digital rights protection in the creator economy through his strategic leadership with global media networks. His work spans cyber forensics, threat intelligence, AI-related legal research, and digital governance, making him a rare practitioner who operates both inside the courtroom and in the cyber battlefield.

  • Arvind Venugopal

    He is an Indian playback singer who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. He began his career in 2011 with the song "Chirakingu Vanamingu" from The Train and has since gained recognition for his expressive and melodious singing in films such as Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, Sunday Holiday, Luca, and Hridayam. He has received multiple awards, including honors from the Satyajit Ray International Documentary & Short Film Festival and Red FM Malayalam Music Awards, and has been nominated for Filmfare Awards South and SIIMA. He is also the son of renowned playback singer G. Venugopal.

  • Col Sanjeev Nair

    Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd) is the former CEO of Technopark, Kerala, and a veteran Army officer with 21+ years of leadership experience in operations, project management, and mission-critical ICT/COMINT solutions. He commanded a regiment in Jammu and Kashmir and received two commendations for operational excellence. He also led the Ministry of Defence’s iDEX innovation initiative and has worked in cyber intelligence and data analytics. He holds a Master’s in Communication Engineering from IIT Bombay and is an alumnus of MDI Gurugram

  • Dr. Jose Chacko Periapuram

    Dr. Jose Chacko Periappuram is an Indian cardiac surgeon and medical writer who performed the first successful heart transplant in the state of Kerala, India, as well as the first successful heart retransplant in the country. His other achievements include the first beating heart, awake bypass and total arterial revascularization surgeries in the state. He is the founder and chairman of "Heart Care Foundation", a charitable trust that financially assists poor heart patients. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award, in 2025. He is also the first surgeon in Kerala to perform bypass surgery using arterial grafts and also TAR.

  • Dr. Saikat Kar

    Dr. Saikat Kar is a physician-scientist, neuroscience researcher, and educator committed to building world-class innovation from underserved regions. A first-generation graduate from Agartala, he trained in integrative neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh and clinical research at Harvard Medical School before returning home to found CodonMind Nexus, Tripura’s first neuroscience-led innovation hub. Through his research, patents, and mentorship of 600+ students, he champions a powerful “return and rebuild” vision for community-driven scientific progress.

  • Franklin Josemon M

    Franklin Josemon M is an education entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, and the Founder & CEO of Franklin’s Lectures, a next-generation ed-tech initiative transforming engineering education in India. Through his vision of a Virtual Engineering University model, he has developed scalable, technology-driven learning systems that provide structured academic excellence and mentorship to thousands of students nationwide. Operating at the intersection of education strategy, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship, Franklin is widely recognized for empowering young engineers with the skills, systems thinking, and leadership mindset necessary to succeed in the future innovation economy.
