  • Amani Abu

    Amani is a calm and dependable young leader who serves as the Class Captain of Year 8. He enjoys basketball and reading and understands many of the pressures young people face today. Through his talk, he hopes to remind other teenagers that they don't have to carry every burden alone.

  • Excellence Nwogu

    Excellence is a dedicated student leader who combines a love for sports with a strong sense of responsibility. As a Class Captain and a three-time table tennis medalist, he understands that true character is built through discipline and consistency. His TEDx talk challenges his audience to think about integrity when no one else is watching.

  • Franca Okechukwu

    Franca is an educator, educational leader and lifelong learner with a passion for transforming lives through quality education and purposeful leadership. With a background in Mathematics and Chemistry education, she has spent years equipping young people for academic success while mentoring educators to deliver excellence in the classroom. She currently serves as an Examination Officer, coordinating both internal and external examinations and championing high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment. Driven by a strong sense of purpose and service, Franca believes that education should shape both character and competence. She is passionate about helping learners discover their potential, empowering educators to grow in their craft, and inspiring schools to pursue excellence with integrity. Whether speaking, teaching, mentoring or leading, Franca is committed to inspiring people to embrace purpose, pursue excellence and create meaningful, lasting impact in their communities.

  • Kairaluchi Asogwa

    Kaira is an inquisitive learner who enjoys reading, writing, and singing. Her participation in several mathematics competitions reflects her determination to keep growing both inside and outside the classroom. She enjoys asking thoughtful questions and is fascinated by how technology can shape our future without replacing what makes us human.

  • Michelle Ishaya

    Michelle is a cheerful and thoughtful young learner who treasures spending time with her family and friends. Having served as Head Girl in primary school, she has already demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and a willingness to serve others. Through her TEDx talk, Michelle hopes to help adults better understand the thoughts and experiences of young people, encouraging more open conversations between teenagers, parents, and teachers. Guided by her faith, she believes that listening with empathy can build stronger relationships and brighter futures.

  • Nzubechukwu Nwachukwu

    Zubby is a student whose energy shines both on and off the track. A three-time gold medalist in the 100-metre race, he also enjoys music and cooking. He believes that lasting change begins with the choices we make at home and hopes to encourage others to become positive influences in their families and communities.

  • Oluwashindara Adebayo

    Shindara is an outgoing and compassionate student who enjoys dancing, crocheting, and engaging in meaningful conversations. As she prepares for external examinations, she continues to grow academically while remaining passionate about issues that affect young people. She believes every voice deserves to be heard and every child deserves equal encouragement.

  • Otse Unogwu

    Otse is a thoughtful young leader with a passion for innovation and service. Whether he's on the football or basketball court, designing graphics, coding, or following politics, he enjoys challenging himself in different ways. As the School Governor, he is committed to leading by example and inspiring others to use their talents to make a difference.

  • Praise Kinkin Gana

    Praise is a confident communicator with a passion for writing, sports, and cooking. She has distinguished herself as a Class Captain, an Honourable Speaker in Model United Nations, and a three-time gold medalist in singing. She believes that some of life's greatest lessons are learned through everyday experiences beyond the classroom.

  • Victoria Ugherughe

    Victoria is a confident and expressive student whose interests span dancing, public speaking, art, and gymnastics. As an FCT Gymnastics Gold Medalist, she has learned the value of discipline, resilience, and self-belief. She is passionate about encouraging young people to find the courage to speak up when it matters most.

  • Wuraola Oniko

    Wuraola is a creative thinker who finds joy in reading, writing, baking, and embroidery. As a Gold Medalist in the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition, she has already demonstrated the power of words and ideas. She believes learning should prepare young people to shape the future, and she hopes to inspire more students to embrace technology with confidence.
