• Bolin Ge

  Hello there! My name is Bolin Ge aka Bryan. I am a debater who occasionally takes on the role hosting on the stage. I think they are the same in a sense---they are both about the transmission of ideas, and so does the job of a TEDx speaker. As a liberal arts student who aspires to study law or politics&economics, I sometimes enjoy exploring the connections between different individual entities and the society/regime/era behind them. I also love reading, and the combination of these two aspects has led to the theme of my speech this time: a 'dialogue' with Pavel Korchagin and Holden Caulfield. I often wish to have the courage to straighten my back a little and step forward a bit in the spotlight, so I'm glad that TEDx has given me this precious opportunity. Now let's go over the hill.

  Hello there!!!! I'm Grace kkk I spend most of my time exploring novels of all genres, while other times I prefer doodling on my notepad. I also like to spend time watching drama or simply listening to music. I'm extremely captivated by liberal arts and literature, spending some time（most of the time) gnawing at excessively long and confusing sentences……anyways, I also love to play tennis and badminton with my friends!

• Jinger Wang

  Hi, my name is Celia Wang, a current G1 student from GHCIS! I love painting and swimming, and I’m really into Biology and Cats! As a ENFP, I’m both thoughtful and humorous —at least my friends always say that I am. I'm a devoted Swiftie and her music has been my source of strength, and just like how she expressed herself through music, I choose to make my voice heard via speeches. I hope you enjoy them.

  Hi, My Name is Wang Junxian or Eric. My passion lie in international relations, with a particular interest in global governance and Asia-Pacific politics, as well as exploring the interplays between sociology and history. My hobbies also include football, exploring nature, watching K-Drama, and spending time with my friends.

• Mingxuan Wang

  It seems that all the online discussions about high sensitivity are negative: "Stay away from highly-sensitive friends", "Don't date highly-sensitive lovers", confusing various "highly-sensitive", "anxious", and "avoidant" types and attaching negative labels to them all. The psychological isolation of highly sensitive people makes them even more trapped in internal conflicts. I don't deny that the improper use of high sensitivity can have a significant negative impact on those people around them, but the solution is definitely not isolation. Instead, it should be about allowing highly-sensitive people to gradually coexist harmoniously with themselves, recognizing their characteristics and using them reasonably to make their lives more comfortable, while also maintaining stable and long-term relationships with the people they care about. I hope everyone can love themselves inside-out.

• Xinyan Sun

  Hi everyone! I am Sun Xinyan / Angelico. I love observing societies function from a global perspective, focusing specifically on the socio-economic rules that quietly shape our lives. Beyond that, I’m fascinated by the conflict between human activity and nature, which I care deeply about improving both the well-being of wildlife and people. I enjoy reflecting on the social and environmental conflicts unfolding around the world, and I’m really excited to share my thoughts with you all. I hope this talk encourages you to see the world a little differently. Thank you so much for being here!

• Xinyue Zhang

  I am Zhang Xinyue, eighteen, a student at Guanghua Cambridge and currently serving as the president of student union. To me, life is a canvas where I blend logic and passion into my own spectrum of growth. The base layer is rational. I thrive on intellectual challenges, especially in programming. Building with code makes me feel like creating precise art. As President, I view this role as a systems project: listening needs analysis, communication is debugging, and action is deployment. A strong community, like elegant code, requires sound architecture and every unique variable. On the basis of rational thinking, I create and express myself through various means such as painting, sports, drone flying, and playing the guitar. The common ground among these activities is the internal motivation to "give form to ideas." I look to the future where technology meets human-centric design. But now, I am here to listen, collaborate, and learn to become the person I truly want to be.

• Zheming Rong

  Hello! I’m Rong Zheming, or you can call me Mark. My passion lies in humanities—especially history, politics, and sociology—where I enjoy thinking about how our ideas and beliefs shape the world around us. Lately, I’ve been especially curious about what happens after grand narratives break down, and how our generation is living through a period where the world is being reshaped in real time. I’m excited to meet all of you and chat about the history that’s unfolding right in front of us. I hope this talk sparks some interesting thoughts, and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks!

  Hello, this is Amanda from Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. I’m a student who dreams to become an excellent lawyer. I am passionate about exploring how the legal system shapes society and influences our lives, hoping to use my professional knowledge to help those in need in the future. Although I am not someone outgoing, I really enjoy deep conversations and like listening to diverse perspectives. I enjoy solitude, but I also love discussing and debating with people. Beyond law, I am also interested in dancing, musicals, history, psychology and literature. I am constantly exploring and learning new things, hoping to maintain the love for life and curiosity about the world forever. I am committed to enriching myself and making the most of every moment in this beautiful life. I always believe, as Shakespeare wrote, “The world is my oyster, which I with sword will open.”
