• Alex Trolin

  Alexis Trolin, once a part of the Swedish royal navy as a submariner, has worked for over 15 years for the BMW group, where he's worked a myriad of positions from VP and Head of Lab to programme manager for manufacturing digital transformation. Currently, he is in his 5th year working for the volkwagon group as a executive vp, focusing especially on automobile technology. With over 30 years in the automobile industry and a trail blazer for BMW in china, constructing the first development centre, he knows a bit about cars... and technology and AI!

• Allison Huang

  Allison believes the next frontier of sustainability should be built from the ground up - literally. Through SoilSense, she shows human originality can merge with AI to protect the planet we share.

• Amy Xu

  Amy is a long-time figure skater and ballet dancer. She believes that community is a core pillar to artistic and academic achievement and will share how the support she receives in life allows her to embrace imperfections and pursue growth.

• Ashley Choi

  Ashley Choi is a passionate advocate for the healing power of sports. With a multicultural background spanning Shanghai, Macau, and New York and over a decade of immersion in athletics and business, she has evolved from a student-athlete to an emerging female leader in the sports industry. Ashley holds a B.S. in Sports Management from New York University, during which she led youth development communication for the Jr.NBA basketball program in China. She now focuses on the art of storytelling in sports, leveraging its universal appeal to foster virtue and community well-being in a post-pandemic world.

  After six years on stage, Hannah learned that when words fail us, imagination steps in. Through theatre, she discovered its unique power to make us feel another’s reality, one of humanity’s most underrated tools for healing.

• Helen Sun

  Helen has explored her love of sports through a variety of outlets, not only by leading the women’s basketball team but also by managing media and taking seminar courses on sports. In her talk, she will discuss the importance of sports in the age of AI.

• Jiaojiao Shi

  Jiaojiao Shi is Senior Legal Counsel at a U.S.-based Fortune 500 medical technology company. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Law from East China University of Political Science and Law and an LL.M. from Emory University. She was admitted to practice law in China and the State of New York, with prior experience at leading German and U.S. law firms in Shanghai. She brings more than ten years of experience advising multinational companies on foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and general commercial matters.

• Julie Zhu

  For years, Julie’s learnt that a great photograph and engine are built in the same way: patience and precision. In her talk, she dives into how creativity is not an artistic add-on to logical thinking, but instead humanity’s essential skill that makes both that makes both art and science possible.

• Lola Guan

  Lola has participated in a multitude of different art forms, including opera, theater, dance, and fashion. She’ll explore how crucial creativity is in order to embrace humanity, not only through arts but language.

• Olivia Wang

  From ballet stages to academic research halls, Olivia has spent her life moving between art forms and discovering herself in all of them. She reminds us that in a world increasing driven by algorithms, some things can never be automated.

  Pete is a versatile leader and manages clubs with focuses such as law, writing, and service. As a key part of his everyday life, Pete explores whether or not there is a formula to humanity, and how to manage activities in relation to people.

• Ronnie Zhou

  From a frozen Christmas truce in 1914 to the rise of civilizations, Ronnie follows a force that lingers behind the scenes in human history, arguing that this may be the only answer for the troubles we face ahead.

• Sophie Chen

  Sophie combines her love for technology and music in order to understand the world, and has excelled in many past competitions for both interests. She’ll share how experience and the use of tools has influenced human creativity.

• Zihua Liu

  Assistant Professor in Finance, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr. Liu earned his PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, focusing on the cutting-edge applications of artificial intelligence and large language models in finance. His research examines the impact of AI on financial markets, analyst behavior, and corporate disclosure, employing techniques such as text analysis and machine learning to systematically explore the generation, dissemination, and economic impact of information in financial markets. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Liu has extensive industry experience and serves as a strategic advisor for a private equity fund. Previously, he worked at Microsoft Online, optimizing algorithms for the MSN website, gaining hands-on experience in large-scale data processing and algorithm optimization. He has also conducted financial data mining at Wind Information and DBS Bank in Singapore.
