• Alissa Ritzauer

  VI Form Student

  Alissa Ritzauer is a Year 12 student at St George’s The British International School, Cologne, is a dedicated member of her school orchestra and a curious, high-achieving student. Passionate about piano, arts and crafts, and swimming, she brings creativity and focus to everything she does. Having grown up in South Korea as a German and Turkish girl born in Hong Kong, Alissa embraces diverse perspectives and continually seeks to learn from the world around her.

• Amalia Davis

  Prefect and VI Form Student

  Amalia Davis is a Year 12 student and Prefect at St George’s The British International School, Cologne. She has embraced a range of leadership roles — from leading the Model United Nations Club to collaborating with the Sustainability Club to reduce the school’s carbon footprint. Beyond her leadership commitments, Amalia enjoys working out, cooking, and reading, and is known for her supportive nature and willingness to help others.

  Edgar Hirche is a Year 12 student at St George’s The British International School, Cologne. He is a member of the school orchestra and Media Club and pursues a range of interests both inside and outside school, including swimming, art, and playing the cello.

Balancing academics with his interest in communication and ideas, Florentin enjoys exploring how technology can shape the future of learning.

  Head Boy and Year Six Student

  Gökay Köcer, a Year 6 pupil and Head Boy of the Primary School at St George’s The British International School, Cologne, is a creative and driven young individual with a strong passion for art and self-expression. He confidently takes on leadership roles and leads by example, always striving to give his very best. Having drawn for several years, he uses creativity to explore ideas and see the world from different perspectives. Alongside his love for art, Gökay also enjoys playing the piano, balancing discipline and imagination in everything he does.

• Johanna Breuer

  Year Six Student

  Johanna Breuer, a Year 6 pupil at St George’s The British International School, Cologne, is always chasing her dreams and has already achieved many of them. She is a developing golfer and a member of the Förderkader Kölner GC squad. Alongside her commitment to sport, Johanna enjoys spending time with her family and is deeply motivated by her curiosity and love of learning.

  Mert Can Kavaloglu is a Year 12 student at St George’s The British International School, Cologne. He is a dedicated member of the school’s mental health awareness campaign and has taken on many roles within the school community. From acting in school theatre productions to playing basketball for the school team, he brings energy and commitment to everything he does. Passionate about both playing and following a wide range of sports, Mert Can combines empathy, motivation, and enthusiasm in his engagement with the school community.

  Rauls Velde, a Year 6 pupil at St George’s The British International School, Cologne, is a passionate and driven young individual with a strong love for sports and personal growth. Actively involved in school life, he participates in several initiatives, including the Young Interpreters programme, where he demonstrates leadership, creativity, and confidence. Whether on the field or working on new ideas, Rauls is always challenging himself to improve and step outside his comfort zone.
