The theme Threads of Time is explored in every way imaginable by our talented staff and student speakers at Broughton High School's first ever officially licensed TEDx event. Quantum mechanics, Ivan Ilyin and the Russia-Ukraine war, and the psychology of nostalgia will take us through the afternoon, and we hope to have you all join us! The event is open to all, but the audience will be capped at 100 so register now to reserve your seat! Seating will be available at the door until the cap of 100 is reached.

    "Hi! I'm Alleta. I'm a sophomore at Broughton and so excited for this event!"

  • Hudson Milano

    Hudson is a Sophomore at Broughton, a co-president of the Model UN club, and has a love for all things science, economics, and geopolitics.

  • Leah Greene

    "After my first year of college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, I transferred to NC State University and graduated with a BA in History and a certification to teach secondary social studies. I have been teaching in North Carolina since 1999 and have earned and renewed a National Board Certification in Social Studies/History. Although I have had experience instructing in three different districts, I currently teach in my own neighborhood in Raleigh at Broughton High School and am often seen biking to school."
