For the past 15 years, Fiola has worked in the global sports industry, specialising in public relations and communications. Since returning to Killorglin in 2017, she has been raising her daughter, running her business, and enjoying masters rowing and local involvement.
Nikolina Tijardovic
Fractional CMO Driving Visibility for Irish SMEs
Nikolina Tijardovic, originally from Croatia, spent her early career in corporate finance. After moving to Ireland in 2014, the birth of her second son in 2019 transformed her outlook. In 2020, a move to Kerry marked a vital shift: choosing a richer, healthier life over opportunities on paper. Working with people across various industries strengthened the communication skills that became her passion: helping others express their message by reconnecting with their “why.” Today, guided by the rhythm of rural life, she blends strategic thinking with time-saving tools to help small businesses grow with intention—while encouraging founders to create space for what matters most, outdoors and at home.
Paul Byrne
Poet & Author
Paul Byrne was born in Sligo and grew up in Listowel, Kerry. He moved to Naas and Dublin for 40 years where he pursued his professional career in Corporate Banking for 25 years. In 2010 he transitioned to Business Development in the private sector and also ran his own business PWB, from 2020-2024. The “Banker turned Bard” started writing poetry in 2007 and has published two books the most recent of which is “FOR THE LOVE OF KERRY” in March 2025, having moved back to rural living in the Kingdom’s stunning Killarney in 2022. Paul is now fully immersed in the Arts scene and volunteering.
Roser Bosch
Nutrition & Health Coach, Forest Therapy Practitioner
Having lived in six European countries and worked in the corporate world, Roser (Rosie) is now based in Killarney and practises in the wellness space. She takes a holistic approach to supporting people’s health and wellbeing through nutrition, lifestyle habits and nature connection. Her practice draws on a growing body of evidence-based forest-therapy initiatives and medically supported “green prescriptions” now used worldwide to promote healing. Roser invites us to remember that nature is not a place we visit, but a living system we belong to, and that we thrive as interconnected beings. She shows how reconnecting with the natural world can inspire powerful health and mindfulness habits we can all take home.
