Keeping The Human Alive asks a simple but urgent question: How do we innovate and evolve in a world increasingly driven by technology without losing ourselves? In a society obsessed with speed and efficiency, it invites us to pause and reflect on what truly matters: our humanity. We should seek to explore how progress and innovation can serve people, not replace them. It asks how we can remain politically and socially engaged when algorithms select what we see and shape our perspective. Ultimately, it is about protecting the inner life that makes each of us a person. Emotionally grounded, ethically awake, and vividly, stubbornly human.

  • Douglas Moreau

    Emmanuel Goffi is an ethicist specializing in the ethical implications of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and defense innovation. A professor of ethics at ISEP and an international consultant, he advises public institutions and private organizations on navigating the societal challenges posed by rapid technological change.

  • Reza Deghati

    Photojournalist, Visual Artist, Architect

    Reza is an Iranian-French photojournalist, humanitarian, and educator who has spent over 45 years documenting wars, revolutions, and humanitarian crises in more than 100 countries. Best known for his work with the National Geographic Society, he has covered conflicts from Afghanistan and Bosnia to Rwanda, Iraq, and Syria, always focusing on the resilience and dignity of the people behind the headlines. Convinced that storytelling can help rebuild lives, he founded the NGO AÏNA in Afghanistan and later the Reza Visual Academy, training thousands of aspiring journalists, photographers, and filmmakers in conflict-affected and marginalized communities. Through his work, Reza argues that while cities can be rebuilt after war, healing the "wounded soul" requires restoring people's ability to tell their own stories.
