• Aurora Xu

  嗨大家好，我是Aurora徐婧，一枚热衷于中国传统文化和马术障碍的剧女。我与戏剧的缘分从中国舞开始，渐渐延伸至台前幕后的每一寸空间。初中创办汉服社、举办校中国文化周，曾穿着汉服站上过秀场舞台，也曾在辩席间获得中文辩论赛“最佳辩手”。这些肢体和语言的经历让我体会到表达的重量。高中后我逐渐转向幕后，是小黑屋常客—负责高中部每一场演出的灯光控制，也是学校energy club现役负责人。从小黑屋的位置看去，舞台是另一番模样。而真正让我沉溺的，是剧场里不可复制的瞬间。从《永不消逝的电波》的雨夜谍影，到《只此青绿》的千里江山；从《红楼梦》葬花的漫天飞花，到《十面埋伏》刀光剑影的垓下悲歌；从舞台布局的华美绮梦，到一桌二椅的简约克制…我流连于不同的文化语汇之间，逐渐领悟到：同一段旋律、同一个主题，在不同社会文化的土壤里，能绽放截然不同的花朵。 这也让我开始对心理与性别研究产生兴趣——人生如戏，舞台从来不只是舞台，而是社会潜意识最诚实的写照。课余时间，我喜欢用文字打捞那些稍纵即逝的感受——写过校刊，也写剧评repo。剧场里和文学作品里那种周而复始的、静默的、却蕴含全部生命力的表达方式，也贯穿了我一些不成章法的创作。马术、舞蹈、文学，是我理解世界的方式；从肢体到语言，我在其中摸索着与世界接触的钥匙。初中时常看TED演讲，从没想到有一天自己会站在这个平台上。我的兴趣或许不够主流，但正因如此，我格外渴望在这里遇见同频的各位小伙伴果你也热爱剧场的光影、马背的风、文字里那些触人心弦的瞬间，那我们的信号可以成功对接。 如果你对这些还不太熟悉，那也不妨进剧场坐坐，或茶余饭后看看马术障碍赛的集锦。期待与各位的见面～

• Binbin Sun

  I am an International E-commerce Transfer Undergraduate Student， also a Youth Speaker for Female Empowerment. I finished my path from junior college to bachelor’s degree with steady self-discipline， and once struggled deeply with self-doubt caused by fixed labels from others. My inner ego used to be invisible chains holding me back. Through long-time self-reflection， I learned all those inner struggles can be turned into tough armor to move forward. In this talk， I draw from my own life to talk about how young women rebuild self-recognition， break stereotypes and get rid of mental friction. I major in international e-commerce， focusing on cross-border digital business operations and global consumer behavior study. In my spare time， I chat with peers stuck in growth anxiety and share my ways to adjust mindset. I hope to deliver a core message at TEDxSSBS: your starting point never defines your self-worth.

• Doris Zhu

  I‘m Doris， someone interested in approaching a topic through different perspectives. The matter I'm most fixated on is the people around me: how they interact， feel， and bond. I want to help people understand that we， as the centers of each of our own little worlds， have an infinite influence on the people around us. Learning to use that kind of influence to the best of our abilities， for the best of causes， is one of the most valuable qualities a person can have.

• Katherine Zhu

  Katherine Zhu is a 10-year-old Grade 4 student at SSBS in Shanghai， China. An avid reader and curious thinker， she is fascinated by psychology， philosophy， identity， and the ways people understand themselves and one another. She enjoys asking big questions and believes that meaningful conversations often begin with curiosity rather than certainty. Outside the classroom， Katherine loves debating， reading， traveling， and swimming. Friends describe Katherine as thoughtful， witty， kind， and someone with a strong sense of integrity. While she dreams of writing a book one day， she is equally excited by the many possibilities that the future may hold.Through her TEDx talk， Katherine invites the audience to reflect on the idea of identity—not as something fixed， but as something that continues to evolve through curiosity， experience， and the courage to keep asking questions.

• Kefan Liu

  我毕业于悉尼大学计算机专业，主攻网络安全。在大学期间，我就开始系统性地辅导计算机核心课程，帮助了很多同学突破编程学习的瓶颈，学生满意度和成绩提升都很显著。毕业后，我继续从事编程教育，同时也参与过企业级软件的系统架构与安全设计。在这个过程中，我发现一个有意思的现象：那些在编程里帮助我们解决问题的思维框架，我的学生们会不自觉地把它用到自己的生活中去，而且效果出奇地好。这次演讲的核心素材，就来自这些真实的观察和我自己的实践。

  I am a student at Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School with a passion for biology, clinical medicine, psychology, and the questions that shape human growth. My interest in science began with a fascination for life itself—not only how living systems function, but also how scientific understanding can help people better understand themselves. Through advanced coursework, biology competitions, and scientific outreach, I have explored topics ranging from genetics and neuroscience to human behavior and development. I hope to pursue a future in medicine or scientific research. I am particularly interested in the intersection of science, human experience, and the questions that shape how we understand life.

• Man Miao

  My name is Megan, and I am a storyteller, a strategist, and a student with a global perspective. I am currently in SSBS but in September I would be joining my new school, CLC in UK. I’ve started to learn debate at a very young age. Over the past few years, I have achieved 3rd Place Globally in the BPA Business Pitch Competition, 2nd Place at the NHSDLC British Parliamentary Debate Asian Open, National Champion at the TOC Asia Summer Invitation Debating Tournament, and Runner-Up at BIT. In business and economics, I earned a Silver Award at the SKT-BPA Full-Scale Business Simulation and became National Runner-Up at the Asdan WYEF Global Youth Economic Forum. Beyond competition, I expanded my horizons at the Purdue University GER Genius Camp, exploring aerospace studies and creative thinking. In this organization, I am not only a participant but also one of the crew members. I thank TEDx and my teammates for working together and making everything come true.

  我就读于星河湾双语学校，即将升入六年级。我一直对演讲和辩论充满兴趣，喜欢在表达中梳理自己的想法，也很享受和他人交流观点、互相探讨的过程。 在校内外的实践中，我参与过ESD不错P英语演讲赛事和GDP英文辩论赛事，并且都顺利获得了奖项。每一次备赛练习、上台展示和赛后复盘，都让我得到了很大的锻炼。我慢慢学会更加全面地看待问题，懂得从不同角度思考、理性分析，也让我在公众表达时更加自信、沉稳，临场反应也变得更加从容。 对我来说，演讲与辩论是一个很好的成长平台。在这里，我不仅可以大胆说出自己的观点，还能认识很多优秀的同龄人，在一次次思想的碰撞中拓宽自己的视野、提升自己的逻辑思维与思辨能力。 我的课余生活充实又丰富。我非常喜欢打排球，在团队运动中，我收获了满满的活力，也学会了团队配合、互相包容、坚持不放弃的精神。长期的运动，让我拥有更好的心态和抗压能力，做事也更加踏实、有毅力。 生活里，我十分喜欢猫咪。我喜欢小动物温柔治愈的陪伴，平时也会耐心细心地照顾它们。和小动物相处的时光，让我的性格变得更加细腻、温柔、懂得换位思考。 赛场之上，我敢于表达、善于思辨；生活之中，我热爱运动、心怀温柔。动静结合的日常，让我成为了一个阳光积极、思维清晰、待人真诚的学生。

  Victor是美国的一名高中生。13岁时，他独自去外国学习。在一种新的语言和文化环境中，他曾经遇到过由于英语口音的差异而没有注意到的无形语言欺凌。那些看似简单的笑话让他陷入了长时间的自我怀疑和沉默。他还认为闭上自己，不发出声音是最好的解决方案。凭借真正的成长经验和深刻的理解，他希望撕掉看似无害的言语暴力伪装，打破公众对语言欺凌的刻板印象。他希望通过这种分享，他可以默默地告诉所有被贴标签和受伤的人：不要通过对他人的评价来定义自己，学会接受自己，勇敢地寻求帮助，主动发声，并以内心的坚定来对抗所有看不见的伤害和偏见。
