• Adrià Mir Muntades

  Adrià is an avid rower and holds an interest in biology and history. He will be examining how humans have used trust in the past to 'bridge' societal gaps and how we should learn to use trust to our advantages.

• Dan Todd

  Dan, a first generation Korean immigrant, is a scholar of philosophy at Dulwich College and fierce debater. He aims to explore the impact of the Korean War and the possibility of Korean reunification.

• Dr Jamie Scott

  Dr Jamie Scott has completed his PhD at the Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge. He has recently co-authored a paper on 'Labelling and iconicity facilitate visual categorisation and discrimination'. He will be presenting his talk on 'Bridging the Language Evolution Gap'.

• Dr Sam Geall

  Dr Sam Geall is a Departmental Lecturer in Human Geography of China at the University of Oxford, Executive Editor of chinadialogue.net, and Associate Fellow at the Chatham House Environment and Society Centre. Sam's work examines how China’s domestic transformation and overseas trade and investment shape the global response to climate change.

• Ilyas Govers

  Ilyas, a Year 12 student at Dulwich College, is an excellent sportsman alongside his interest in the harm social media presents to society. His talk will uncover how addiction to social media presents issues in today's digital landscape.

• James White

  James, a passionate Year 11 scholar at Dulwich College, has a keen interest in English and languages. His talk, When is a Bridge not a Bridge?, will cover the derivations and uses of the word 'bridge' over time, both metaphorically and physically.

• Janaum Rao

  Janaum, an engineer, is our only speaker to discuss physical bridges. He will document his work building and designing railway bridges in the UK and how it might not be as easy as it would appear.

• Mario Wu

  Mario is a boarder at Dulwich College who joined from overseas in Year 9. As a keen MUNer who is acutely aware of the divergence in culture in different parts of the world, Mario will be presenting his talk on his own lived experience in assimilating into a new culture.

• Raphael Lerner

  Raphael is an avid debater and keen cross-country sportsman at Dulwich College. He will be discussing how to involve the youth in climate policy making, presenting his talk on 'a bridge to a more sustainable future'.

• Thomas White

  Thomas, a passionate physicist, is a scholar at Dulwich College. His talk will cover one of the most interesting questions that puzzles modern scientist - the bridge between General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.

• Titus Hopkins

  Titus Hopkins has been working on research surrounding the Assisted Dying Bill as a Parliamentary Researcher in the House of Commons and the House of Lords. He will be presenting his talk on the issue surrounding assisted dying and death.

• Vikram Kochhar

  Vikram, President of the Law Society and Founder of the Legal Eye, has an avid interest in jurisprudence and the intersection of history, politics and philosophy. President of Law Society at Dulwich College and the Founder of the Legal Eye, Vikram's research is grounded in viewing current affairs through a post-modernist prism. He has an avid interest in jurisprudence and the intersection between history, politics and law.
