  Public Safety Ambassador

  Denton Carlson spent 27 years as a public safety professional, retiring in December 2025 as a Chief of Police after serving in roles ranging from Deputy Sheriff and Police Officer to SWAT Team Operator, Detective, SWAT Team Commander, Public Information Officer, and Executive Committee Member on the Board of Directors for the California Police Chiefs Association. As a Public Safety Ambassador for Longeye, Denton is heavily involved in the ethical and responsible implementation of artificial intelligence within the criminal justice system through their AI platform designed to help public defenders, prosecutors, and investigators manage the overwhelming amounts of digital evidence the system encounters.   Midlife Movement Coach & Advocate for Wellness and Prevention

  Judy Truong is a midlife movement coach, educator, and advocate helping people take ownership of their health and longevity. While raising two young children and balancing a professional career, she has spent the past several years exploring how tools such as AI, wearables, and digital health platforms can support preventive wellness when paired with micro movements, consistent habits, and intentional learning in midlife. By documenting her own journey and engaging a growing community of midlifers, Judy demonstrates how accessible technology can deepen self-awareness, encourage behavior change, and improve long-term health outcomes. Her work sits at the intersection of wellness, behavioral science, and technology, translating data-informed insights into practical, real-life actions. Judy inspires audiences to embrace imperfect progress, prioritize prevention, and see midlife as a powerful stage for growth, resilience, and possibility.

• Kyle Costamagna

  Educator

  Kyle Costamagna is a career and technical education teacher for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. He teaches courses in advanced technology and medical technology. In addition to his regular teaching, Kyle serves as a member of the district's committee for instructional technology leaders. Kyle holds a Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction, with a certificate of leadership in educational technology. Kyle works at the intersection of technology and student experience, helping to shape curriculum and educational policy. His mission statement is simple. To meet students where they are at, through positive and impactful educational experiences.

• Peter Shen

  Global Head of Sales Operations Senior Advisor for Digitalization & AI

  Peter Shen is the Global Head of Sales Operations and Senior Advisor for Digitalization and AI at Siemens Healthineers. In his successful 27-year career in healthcare digitalization, he has held several executive management positions in sales, marketing and innovation, specifically focused on the introduction of new and emerging technologies to the healthcare market, including solutions in Imaging IT, 3D Advanced Visualization, Data Analytics, Digital Ecosystems and Artificial Intelligence. Peter is an industry leader in Healthcare Imaging IT, engaging with major health providers and leading technology partners and routinely speaking at healthcare conferences and events. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Peter currently resides in Silicon Valley.

  Product Leader | Technologist

  Smita Madam is a strategic product leader, technologist, and speaker passionate about how innovation emerges at the intersections of technology, design, and human insight. With over a decade of experience building and scaling enterprise and consumer products, she has led AI and GenAI-powered initiatives that enhance customer experiences and drive measurable business outcomes. Smita began her career as a software engineer. She later transitioned into product management and leadership roles at Amazon, Tableau, and Capital One. Across roles, she has consistently worked at the convergence of engineering, data, strategy, and design - translating complex technology into meaningful, real-world impact. Currently, Smita is exploring personal passions, mentoring, and creative pursuits at the intersection of technology & society. This period of reflection has deepened her commitment to curiosity, lifelong learning, and sharing ideas that empower others to navigate an increasingly complex world.

• Tim Haile

  Executive Director

  Tim Haile is the Executive Director of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. CCTA is Contra Costa’s designated Congestion Management Agency, responsible for putting programs in place to keep traffic levels manageable and works to plan, fund, and implement innovative transit programs that strengthen our diverse communities and improve the lives of residents. He is an award-winning transportation expert and advocate for redefining mobility. Tim has a proven track record of being a champion of change and strives to advance emerging technologies and transportation solutions that are safe, equitable, sustainable, and accessible. In recognition of his knowledge and outstanding leadership, Tim received the 2023 ITS Distinguished Award for Advancement of Research and Innovation from Berkeley Institute of Transportation Studies.   Technologist, Consultant

  Uday Kumar works at the intersection of technology and real-world systems where human decisions carry real consequences. A consultant and enterprise operator, he helps organizations bridge the gap between breakthrough innovation and real-world impact where trust, execution, and human lives are on the line. Over a 25-year career advising organizations across energy, finance, manufacturing, and healthcare, Uday has seen how technological progress reshapes industries in very different ways. But it was in healthcare that the limits of reactive systems and the cost of waiting became most visible, and where his work became most personal and consequential. Earlier in his career, Uday led large-scale technology efforts within one of the country’s most complex public healthcare environments.
