Mary Esposito
She is the founder of Purple Pear, a fiber craft brand with an international audience, and Money with Mary, a financial literacy platform empowering young people at scale. A certified peer mentor at UNC’s Carolina Financial Well-Being Center, Mary works at the intersection of creativity, money, and social impact.
Taanvii Verma
Taanvii works as a research assistant in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill department of Anesthesiology, specializing in the neurobiology of chronic pain. Her honors thesis is investigation how stress and trauma impacts pain and healing. She has also worked as a yoga and meditation teacher for high schoolers. Taanvii has taken both these passions forward through the CSTART program, where she is now the instructor of record for her own undergraduate course: The Future of Pain Therapeutics.
