  • LUIS LORENZANA

Luis began his artistic journey through illustration, where his early works drew heavily from the socio-political landscape he observed during his time working at the Philippine Senate. Over the years, his practice has evolved toward a more formalist and exploratory approach, one that examines the construction and deconstruction of identity through portraiture, abstraction, and pop surrealism. His paintings and drawings reflect a continual pursuit of pushing visual language and expanding the boundaries of contemporary expression. His works have been featured in over 30 group and solo exhibitions across Hong Kong, Italy, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States. Through his evolving body of work, Luis continues to challenge perspectives, reinterpret narratives, and inspire dialogue through art.
