Hashim Ali
Hashim Ali is an art director, production designer and visual storyteller based in Lahore. Born in Faisalabad and raised in Lahore, where he still lives, he is a Visual Communication Design graduate of the National College of Arts. He began his career in 2010 and has since worked across music, fashion and film, drawing on Mughal-era aesthetics, craft and heritage to build immersive worlds. He was the art director and production designer for six of the 13 songs in Coke Studio Season 14, including the global hit Pasoori. His work has been profiled by Forbes, and he was the cover story of Chaap Global’s Issue #09. In January 2025, he directed a Pakistani fashion and Sufi music show at Qatar’s Museum of Islamic Art in Doha. He works through his own studio, Hashim Ali Design Studios, and is known for championing Pakistani and South Asian identity in the global creative conversation
