For centuries, the world has been shaped by stories—some empowering, many restrictive. These narratives about identity, success, culture, failure, history, and even the future are often inherited without question. Yet, they are not always inclusive, authentic, or liberating. The theme "Rewriting the Narratives" is about reclaiming authorship. It is about interrogating outdated perspectives, reframing the way stories are told, and elevating voices that challenge the status quo. It calls upon us to replace narratives of limitation with ones of empowerment, to transform stories of crisis into visions of resilience, and to recast silence into dialogue that inspires action. Breaking Down the Theme • Societal Narratives: Questioning one-dimensional histories and reconstructing social constructs around gender, race, class, and identity to foster inclusivity. • Personal Narratives: Moving beyond the “traditional” roadmap of success to embrace diverse pathways, redefining failure, and destigmatizing conversations around mental health and unconventional choices. • Innovation & Technology: Shifting from fear-driven discourse to recognizing technology as an instrument of possibility, sustainability, and human progress. • Culture & Art: Reimagining artistic expression by dismantling stereotypes and amplifying local, indigenous, and overlooked voices. • Narratives for the Future: Transitioning from scarcity and despair to hope, resilience, and solution-driven imagination for collective transformation.

A TISS alumnus and Founder of India’s first Copywriting & Art Direction programme at MICA, he draws from psychology, philosophy, and behavioural science to explore this idea: a hidden ‘super-story’ shapes our choices-often unconsciously-and creativity can reveal it.
