This year’s theme, “Eyes Wide Open,” invites us to pause, to analyze carefully, and to perceive authentically the reality that surrounds us. In a context where information circulates at an unprecedented speed and appearances can often be misleading, we believe it is essential to maintain our critical thinking, curiosity, and level of awareness. Through this theme, TEDxYouth@AvenorCollege encourages the exploration of new ideas, the questioning of existing assumptions, and the discovery of innovative perspectives on our own identity and the world we live in. By keeping our eyes wide open, we take the first step toward developing empathy, stimulating creativity, and generating transformation—because authentic change begins the moment we choose to truly see.
