• Airi Barnes

  Airi is a Jeddah-based content creator who believes your personal brand is your most powerful asset. Through her own experiences, she shares insights on how personal branding can shift your relationship with opportunity, whether it is to stand out in job applications, build a business, advance your career, or beyond.

• Areeb Bakheet

  Areeb is a senior at Advanced Generations Schools and the founder of Threaded, a crochet, clothing, and accessories brand. She serves as Secretary General of AGSMUN III and Director of Public Relations on the AGS Student Council. Additionally, she has shared her perspective as a panelist at the Saudi Smart Summit on youth and the future of the workforce. As a former basketball athlete, she carries the focus, patience, and resilience she developed on the court into her creative and academic pursuits. She brings the lessons she has learned from running a business and her academics, as well as navigating different learning environments, into everything she does, shaping how she approaches challenges and growth. In her TEDxAIS talk, she will explore personal branding and authenticity, showing how she has taken her experiences from building her brand, leading, and learning, and turned those experiences into skills she carries with her wherever she goes.

• Dr. Arch. Sami Angawi

  For over four decades, Dr. Sami has dedicated his life’s work to understanding architecture as a system of balance (Al-Mizan)—between human beings and their environment, ethics and technology, tradition and contemporary life. His work does not treat architecture as an object, but as a living process that shapes behavior, learning, and well-being. In 1975, Dr. Sami founded the Hajj Research Center in Makkah, one of the earliest interdisciplinary initiatives to study Hajj not only as a ritual, but as a human, spatial, and organizational system. This research profoundly shaped his thinking on movement, scale, collective experience, and the relationship between spiritual meaning and spatial order. Dr. Sami is also a Harvard Graduate School of Design Fellow, and his academic journey has been deeply influenced by Architects such as Hassan Fathy and Frei Otto, bridging scholarship and practice, theory and lived experience. His projects range from Dar Al-Makkiyah, a living prototype for learning and reflection, to major institutions such as the International Medical Center in Jeddah, where architecture becomes an active participant in healing, learning, and human dignity. Beyond buildings, Dr. Sami’s work invites us to rethink how we live, build, and belong—giving a future to our past through our present.

• Kenda Sabra

  Kenda Sabra is a young leader and public speaker passionate about the empowerment of personal branding. Through her experiences in international conferences and youth-led organizations, she explores how owning your story can unlock confidence, impact, and opportunity.

• Kuzey Urkmeyen

  At the age of 15 years old, Kuzey has been an active member in his school society by actively participating in several organizations such as Build Africa, Green Hope, Student Council, National Honor Society, and many more. Through his active engagement and self reflection, he has underwent tremendous development and aspires to remind the power of perseverance to those who have their own struggles internally and beyond.

• Layal Bukhari

  Layal is a leader both inside and outside the classroom. She is the President of her school’s Model United Nations club, a full IB Diploma student, and someone deeply familiar with navigating complex global issues.
