The Ripple Effect explores how individual ideas, choices, and voices can extend far beyond their origin—shaping communities, influencing perspectives, and transforming the future. Like a single drop in water, one moment of courage, creativity, or innovation can spark a chain reaction that touches countless lives. This year, TEDx ISL Qatar Youth invites speakers and audiences to reflect on the impact of seemingly small beginnings. From personal growth to global movements, we celebrate how ripples become powerful forces of change. Together, we explore how each of us holds the ability to start something meaningful, and how our collective ripples can shape a better world.

  • Celine Barhoumi

    Hi, I’m Celine, and I'm a 12 year old student at ISL Qatar. I’m excited to be part of TEDxISL Qatar Youth and to share an idea that matters to me. I believe that even young voices can spark meaningful change. I've been a professional speaker ever since I learned how to speak. I've also been I’m grateful for this opportunity to connect, inspire, and learn alongside such an incredible community.

    Hi, my name is Kareem El Khatib. I’m a Grade 10 Student, and I’m excited to be part of this TEDx experience. I’m passionate about learning, growing, and exploring new ideas, and I enjoy sharing my perspectives with others. Being here is an incredible opportunity for me to express what matters to me and connect with people through my story.

    Hi, I’m Leah Sobh, a proud Lebanese student who loves her country. I’m passionate about biology, enjoy getting lost in movies and TV shows, and spend a good amount of time at the gym.

  • Mohmood Erbad

    Hi, I’m Mohmood. I’m a student who spends a lot of time at the intersection of ancient strategy and modern life. I’ve always been fascinated by Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and how its lessons apply to the challenges we face today. When I’m not diving into a book, I’m usually out on a long walk, exploring new places to eat, or leaning into my faith as a Muslim to stay grounded. I’m here to share how a good movie can change the way we look at our world and our lives.

  • Saankhya Siddartha

    Hi! My name is Saankhya, I am Singaporean 10th Grader and I have lived all around the world, including in India, Brazil, Egypt, Sudan, Azerbaijan, Singapore, and, of course, Qatar. I have a lovely family including my beloved dog who’s been like a sister to me since first grade, and two especially incredible friends, all of whom I know I can rely on and trust! I am very excited to participate in TedX as I have admired speakers from a young age, always loved Ted Talks, and enjoy public speaking. Together, I hope we can change the world... word by word.
