TEDxISPH Youth

Anatomy: the study of the structure or internal workings of something. Change: the act or instance of making something or becoming different. When we as a society look back on our history, consistency in human nature comes in the form of change. We thrive off it, arguably of which has shaped, driven, and defined us. Change has been at civilisation's side for as long as civilisation has lived itself. Change is intrinsic, and from world-shaking to minute nudges, their effects can be felt by everyone. It is the crutch humans carve and use to support ourselves. It is the various forms of life-saving science, of societally-redefining movements, it is an artform within itself. And yet, not everyone acknowledges the way change pokes, lifts and shifts; and not everyone acknowledges the vitality of change to us as individuals, and as a collective. Which is why this year, with our theme, 'The Anatomy of Change', TEDxISPH Youth 2026 aims to explore the complex and fluid nature of change; to dive into the significant and minute components that form the foundations of change; those of which contribute to the roots, branches, leaves and wings that support change; to study the individual parts of change and to reinforce its necessity. From science, technology and innovation to social revolutions and revelations, symbolic or historic movements to arbitrary concepts that haven't been given the stage to platform- the limits are left undefined. Change is impossible to define rigidly, only to the reader and their mind.
