  Amal Khan is a founder at LAMA and a journalist.

• Farah Nadeem

  Scholar and Education Leader

  With a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington, Dr, Farah Nadeem leverages machine learning and advanced analytics to dismantle barriers to educational access and success. Her interdisciplinary career spans significant leadership roles, including serving as a faculty member at the School of Education and the Director of the Office of Accessibility and Inclusion at LUMS, and the Assistant Director of Academics at The City School Network. An advocate for evidence-based reform, Dr. Nadeem has orchestrated large-scale initiatives to improve educational equity. She notably led the Monitoring & Evaluation team for the Punjab Education Sector Reforms Programme, where she managed data systems for 52,000 schools and 11 million students. Whether working with UNICEF on literacy programs or designing inclusive university policies, Dr. Nadeem is dedicated to translating complex data into actionable strategies that ensure every learner counts.

• Rashid Rana

  Artist

  Rashid Rana is widely considered to be one of the leading artists of his generation in South Asia today. Notable for his conceptual innovation and dramatic visual strategies, Rashid Rana has exhibited extensively at various galleries and museums globally. His works are in various public and private collections including the British Museum London, Metropolitan Museum New York, Fukuoka Museum of Art, Japan and Saatchi Collection, London. He is the recipient of the prestigious Game Changer Asia Art Award, and was awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan in 2022. Primarily known for his art practice, Rashid Rana in fact occupies multiple simultaneous profiles. He mediates between artist, curator, educator and visionary with a common thread of an unfixed and non-prescriptive view of geography and identity. He is a founding faculty member and currently the Dean of the Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design at BNU, Lahore.

• Sarah Ahmad

  Government Official

  Sarah Ahmad, TI, is a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab and serves as Chairperson of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Government of the Punjab, and Chairperson of the Gender Mainstreaming Committee of the Punjab Assembly. In recognition of her exceptional work, she was awarded the International Woman of Courage Award by the U.S. Department of State in March 2024 and is the only Pakistani recipient of the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in 2024, conferred for her outstanding contributions to child protection. Her work has received international recognition, including the Global Collaborative Award in Rome (2022). She has represented Pakistan at major global forums, including the United Nations Conference on Child Sexual Abuse (2023) and, in 2026, at the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in Geneva, as part of the official Government of Pakistan delegation.
