On May 29, 2026, TEDxFaculdade Zarns Itumbiara brought together speakers, students, educators, and healthcare leaders in Itumbiara, Goiás, under the theme “Innovation and Inclusion: Shaping the Future of Medical Education in Brazil’s Interior”. Through diverse perspectives, the event explored how medicine, technology, leadership, and human connection are redefining healthcare education and practice beyond traditional academic centers. Across six talks, speakers discussed effective communication in healthcare, artificial intelligence, neurodiversity in medicine, healthcare leadership, digital patient care, and the future of medical education in Brazil. Together, these ideas demonstrated that innovation is not limited to technology alone. It also means building more inclusive educational environments, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, and preparing healthcare professionals to serve increasingly diverse communities. By hosting these conversations in Brazil’s interior, TEDxFaculdade Zarns Itumbiara reaffirmed that transformative ideas are not defined by geography. The event celebrated the role of local institutions and communities in shaping a more accessible, equitable, and forward-looking future for medical education.
