• Adrian Brown

  Student

  Adrián Brown, a hands-on problem solver, has long been interested in how systems work and the real-world effects they create. From experiments to running, to building, racing, and modifying electric vehicles to anything else in between, his curiosity has always been grounded in practical exploration. Passionate about people and deeply concerned about the future of our environment, he is drawn to questions others don't realize can be solved easily. One of those questions - often misunderstood and controversial - led him to examine the truth behind nuclear power.

• Adrian Chacon Olivares

  Student

  Adrian Chacon is an 11th-grade student who is passionate about leadership, human connection, and personal growth. Through his experience at the Global Youth Leadership Summit, Adrian discovered the power of being truly heard, which transformed how he approaches both leadership and relationships. Two years later, he returned as a mentor, helping create spaces for others that are rooted in empathy, trust, and understanding. Adrian is also deeply interested in sports and data science, fields through which he continuously seeks challenge and growth.

• André Bendfeldt Fahsen

  Student

  Andre Bendfeldt is a 10th-grade student and a nationally top-ranked youth kickboxer in many of his divisions, earning multiple international medals including podium finishes at the 2024 WAKO Youth World Championships. Beyond the sport, he’s passionate about personal growth and the mindset behind self-improvement, drawing inspiration from habits, discipline, and the research of resilience. Andre also enjoys golf, movies, reading, and spending time with his dogs, friends, and family, passions that inspire the message he brings to the TEDx stage today.

• Anika Martínez-Sobral Olyslager

  Anika Martínez-Sobral is a part time athlete, part time aspiring chef, who loves looking for ways to simplify the "healthy lifestyle." She enjoys playing basketball, track and feild, cooking, and conducting research on food and its many impacts. After what seemed like a tragedy occurred, Anika's research reached the next level, as her curiosities became one with her own situation. Today, Anika is here to share her findings and spread an important message full of secrets that not many know about.

• Dailyn Tatiana Delgado Vail

  Dailyn Delgado is an 11th-grade student who believes language is more than words, it’s identity, courage, and vulnerability. She explores the emotional weight of learning new languages and the sense of inadequacy that often arises when our thoughts don’t translate the way we wish. With honesty and courage, Daylin challenges perfection and reminds us that our voice still matters, even when it shakes.

• Juan Diego Chiu Reyes

  Juan Diego is a senior who finds meaning in small, unexpected moments. Through his Rubber Duck TED Talk, he reflects on how tiny sources of joy can create resilience, perspective, and connection in everyday life.

• Paula Estrada Ramírez

  Student

  Paula Estrada is a 10th-grade student driven by curiosity, science, and a deep interest in how unseen systems shape our world. Outside the classroom, she enjoys swimming, reading, and listening to music—activities that give her space to reflect and observe. Her passion for the natural world grew after discovering the hidden life beneath our feet and turning that curiosity into community action. In her TEDx talk, The Invisible City, Paula explores how caring for what grows quietly— in nature and within ourselves—can lead to meaningful, lasting change.

• Rocio Mabel Cifuentes Argueta

  Mabel Cifuentes is an 11th-grade student passionate about understanding human behavior, communication, and the invisible forces that shape social dynamics. As a merit-based scholarship student at a prestigious school in Guatemala, she has observed how reputation, belonging, and perception influence relationships and opportunities. Through her TEDx talk, Más allá del rumor, she invites audiences to reflect on the power of words and the responsibility behind sharing them.

• Sophie Marroquín Galindo

  Student

  Sophie Marroquín, a current sophomore in high school, actively seeks self-improvement by pursuing her passions and ambitions. From getting lost in music by playing the piano to spending entire afternoons on a basketball court, Sophie engages in these activities as a way to enjoy life. However, constant failure has led her to face the only barrier capable of stopping her; her own thoughts. In this journey of uncertainty and doubt, Sophie finds the source of her hesitation in her own reality.

• Zuel Han Chang

  Student

  Driven by reflection and a deep sense of purpose, Zuel Han Chang explores service beyond surface level altruism, reflecting on how acts of service shape both responsibility and character. Through years of volunteering within her community and church, what began as obligation gradually became personal transformation. This experience has informed her academic interests in international relations, law, and human rights, where she hopes to better understand responsibility and access on a broader scale. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing the guitar, spending time with friends, and journaling.
