TEDx Bonjour Girls centers on the theme How Women Break Through—spotlighting ideas forged under constraint. We’re not looking for polished success stories, but for insights shaped inside systems, culture, technology, and identity—where choices are hard, trade-offs are real, and authorship must be claimed. To us, “breaking through” is not just an outcome—it’s a set of decisions and capacities: seeing structure, claiming voice, choosing an unconventional path, creating new routes, and staying accountable to oneself in uncertainty. The directions below are guiding lenses (not limits): 1. Breaking Structural Ceilings — Is the ceiling really about competence? If not, what actually moves it? 2. Making Your Voice Heard — When power isn’t assumed, how do you earn space, resources, and influence? 3. Choosing a Non-Standard Path — If you don’t follow the default template, how do you build legitimacy and momentum? 4. Entrepreneurship & AI — As technology becomes a new power structure, how do women become creators—not just users? 5. Self-Authorship in Uncertainty — What does grit look like without self-erasure? How do you persist without depletion? We welcome speakers from diverse backgrounds who can bring one clear idea and a transferable insight—how you broke through, and what others can take with them.
