We often view the world through contrasting lenses- simple and complex, order and chaos, clarity and confusion. These opposites help us navigate reality by drawing out a more digestible map of the unknown. However, by doing so, we overlook something vital: the spectrum in-between. Simplicity and complexity are not rigid boundaries, they are perspectives — shifting based on depth, distance, and context. What appears simple from one end unravels into intricate layers when examined more closely. Likewise, what may seem overwhelmingly complex can unveil an elegant rhyme of reason with just a slight change in view. This overlooked middle ground is the realm of simplexity: not a contradiction, but a sense of continuity fuelled by the fluidity of perception. Simple and complex are often seen as two opposite points. Conversely, the same idea can exist as both, shifting across a gradient, with accordance to the depth of perception. This often overlooked grey area, we reintroduce as simplexity: an amalgamation of the opposites.
