• Addison Mawyer

  Addison Mawyer is a lifelong Wildcat, having grown up in Chesapeake. At Great Bridge, she is student council president, yearbook editor, and a member of the girls varsity soccer team, allowing her to connect with many of her peers. She plans to study psychology at University of Virginia, hoping to understand the meaning behind the “weird” label and to inspire people to be more curious.

• Aiden Kalb

  Aiden Kalb grew up in Hampton, VA before moving to Chesapeake 14 years ago. He is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Spanish, and Math Honor Societies, senior class office, and the swim team, where during his senior year, they went undefeated. Next fall he heads to Old Dominion University, studying finance while working on his license to become a commercial pilot.

• Anthony San Angelo

  While Anthony San Angelo grew up in a Navy family, he was blessed to stay in the same place for seven consecutive years until moving across the country from Washington to Chesapeake. At Great Bridge, he plays in the jazz band, wind ensemble, and marching band. He plans to study Psychology focusing on Pediatrics at James Madison University; he is ready to face the arduous years ahead while pursuing his doctorate in Psychology.

• Emily Bowen

  Emily Bowen grew up a lifelong Chesapeake and Great Bridge native, being a third-generation Wildcat. At Great Bridge, she is a part of three honor societies, captain of the Varsity Girls Soccer team, and serves as Senior Class President. She plans to study Sports Media and Analytics at Virginia Tech this fall in hopes to eventually work for a professional sports team.

• Evangelyn Dausman

  Evangelyn Dausman has called Chesapeake home for the past six years after spending much of her childhood moving with her military family. Outside of school, she is passionate about serving through Young Life, a Christian ministry for high school students, and works as a barista at Taxus Street Coffee. In the fall, Evie plans to attend James Madison University, where she will pursue her goal of becoming an English teacher.

• Isabella Richards

  Isabella Richards was born in a small town in West Virginia and later moved to Virginia, where she has grown into the person she is today. She is a proud Wildcat, a member of the NHS, and a player on the girls' varsity volleyball team. Although she plans to study biology and human anatomy in college, her dedication to protecting and caring for animals will always be an important part of who she is, even as she dedicates her future to saving human lives.

• Julia Williams

  Growing up in Chesapeake, Julia Williams always knew she wanted a future in dentistry. At the Chesapeake Career Center, she combined her interest in science and service through hands-on dental assisting experiences and involvement in her school and community. This fall, she will attend Longwood University alongside her two sisters as she pursues dentistry, driven by her belief that a smile is more than appearance — it shapes confidence, connection, and how people experience the world.

• Madelyn Von Tersch

  Madelyn Von Tersch has lived in Chesapeake for as long as she can remember. At Great Bridge High School, she plays varsity soccer, serves as SCA Vice President, works as a student intern at Great Bridge Intermediate, and participates in a variety of additional leadership roles. Since she was four years old, Madelyn’s family has taken road trips across the United States, inspiring her love for travel and developing a passion for driving versus flying. Through these experiences, she has visited all but 12 U.S. states, as well as parts of Canada. These experiences have sparked her appreciation for helping others and understanding health across the U.S. Next year, Madelyn plans to attend James Madison University to major in Health Sciences, where she hopes to give back to others and make an influence in the Healthcare field.

• Piper Bourgeois

  Piper Bourgeois grew up in a military family, moving five times across the country before settling in Chesapeake. In high school, she has served as a volleyball team captain, vice president of class office, and a member of NHS. In the fall, she heads to the University of Tennessee to study Biological Sciences, hoping to pursue a career as an occupational therapist.

• Will Englert

  Will Englert is a born and raised Chesapeake native who grew up in Great Bridge schools. He is a member of the varsity football team, a class office delegate, and a member of the NHS. Next fall he will attend The College of William and Mary to play football and pursure a degree in Biology, as he prepares for his future in serving others in the medical field.

• Yuliang Zheng

  Yuliang Zheng is from Fuzhou, China. She was raised in China and moved to the U.S. in 2019. Now she is a member of the Great Bridge High School Debate team and loves learning languages. After high school, she will study as a freshman at the University of Florida, studying business administration.
