Dr. Anton Wardaya, the CEO of Wardaya College, is a dedicated educator and visionary leader with a mission to advance Indonesia's education system. As the Head of the Gifted and Talented Students Center, he trains Indonesia's Math Olympiad delegation for international competitions, nurturing excellence and critical thinking among young learners. Through TED×Youth@SmakOne, Dr. Wardaya will share valuable insights and practical tips on how to choose the right university and thrive in it, helping students navigate their academic journey with confidence and purpose.
Bethania Reika Kawanda
Betha Reika Kawanda, a Grade 12 student at SMAK 1 PENABUR, has always been intrigued by how people adapt to change and find strength through uncertainty. As she prepares to step into a new chapter of her life, she reflects on the lessons and challenges that have shaped her growth throughout high school. Billy Stevanus
Billy Stevanus, a SMAK 1 graduate known for his energy and enthusiasm, studied Broadcast and Journalism at Universitas Pelita Harapan. Now a professional MC for concerts, talk shows, and events, Billy will share about the real behind the show, a talk about authenticity, identity, and staying true to yourself in a world that expects constant performance. Through his experiences on and off stage, he reflects on the importance of staying true to yourself and discovering who you are beyond the spotlight.
Joanne Gisella Yusmita
Joanne Gisella Yusmita, is a Grade 11 student at SMAK 1 PENABUR who is passionate about helping others develop self-awareness and understand how their identities form. Through her experiences in student council, and various school activities, she has seen how comparison, imitation, and external expectations can shape a borrowed version of oneself. In her talk titled Uncovering Your True Self, Gisel explains how social comparison and conformity influence self-perception and presents how understanding these patterns can help individuals recognize the difference between a borrowed identity and their true self.
Nicole Eleanor Setiady
Nicole Eleanor Setiady, a Grade 10 student at SMAK 1 PENABUR, has always been fascinated by how small habits can shape the way we live. Her curiosity led her to explore something often overlooked by many, the food we eat every day. Through her learning and reflection, she discovered how nutrition influences not only our health but also our daily decisions and lifestyles. In her TED×Youth@SmakOne talk, Nicole invites the audience to see how mindful consumption can create balance and awareness in our lives.
