The seventh edition of TEDxIMIB, hosted on 17 January 2026 at IMI Bhubaneswar, presented a thoughtfully curated confluence of ideas under the theme “Alchemy: Imagination. Insight. Impact.” The event focused on one central idea: how imagination, when guided by insight, can lead to meaningful impact across disciplines and in everyday life. The speaker lineup featured journalist Vikram Chandra, social innovator Sujit Mahapatra, senior army leader Lt. Gen. C. P. Mohanty, wellness expert Dr. Nilima Roy Chowdhury, and food blogger Rohit Srivastava, each bringing distinct perspectives shaped by experience. A musical interlude by Ananya Nayak added an artistic dimension to the proceedings. Marked by clarity, brevity and substance, the talks prioritised ideas over spectacle. In doing so, TEDxIMIB 2026 fulfilled its purpose to spark dialogue, challenge assumptions and leave audiences with thoughts that continue to resonate beyond the stage.
