The longest-standing TEDx event dedicated to women in Hong Kong. Our name pays homage to Tin Hau, the Chinese Goddess of the Sea, and recognizes Hong Kong’s unique coastal and spiritual history. The TEDxTinHau Women chapter in Hong Kong was launched in November 2017 by former TEDxShanghaiWomen organizers, Daniella Lopez, Jen Flowers, and Stefanie Meyers. Now, 8 years later, the organizing committee has grown to almost 50 volunteers, who share TED’s believe that “Ideas Change Everything”. Join us in November to hear a diverse selection of speakers on topics related to women.
