TEDxBergamo

TEDxBergamo brings to the city, for the first time, a new format called TED COUNTDOWN: "Championing and accelerating solutions to the climate crisis." TED COUNTDOWN is a global initiative aimed precisely at accelerating solutions to the climate crisis: it aims to be a platform of ideas for sharing sustainability innovations. More than 1,000 events of this format have already taken place around the world, with over 270 million views of the talks delivered on the red dot stage. TEDxBergamo COUNTDOWN represents a unique opportunity to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: climate change. The term countdown refers to the time the earth faces if we don't change our daily lives. Bringing an event like this to Bergamo means giving voice to innovators, thinkers, and leaders who are already working for a sustainable future. I want our city to become a hub for dialogue on these crucial issues, creating an environment where ideas can not only be shared but also translated into concrete action.
