• Alvin Chai

  Alvin Chai, freshly graduated from Pui Ching Middle School, embodies resilience shaped by the rough HKDSE journey. Guided by his life motto -- the pursuit of happiness -- he utilises his willpower into exploring passions across diverse fields. From composing music and excelling in international biology competitions to managing a sports team as a captain, Alvin thrives as a master of many disciplines. His philosophy is simple yet profound: true motivation arises not from external pressure, but from joy itself. For Alvin, happiness is the driving force behind the crowning achievements -- and he believes that the happiest players are always the ones who win.

• Cedric Wong

  Cedric Wong is a 15-year-old student in Hong Kong building at the intersection of artificial intelligence and science. A synthetic biology researcher through iGEM and a hackathon competitor, he spends his time outside the classroom developing skills in technology, everything about AI, computers, software and tech. His fascination with technology began early: at eleven, during the height of the NFT boom, he spent a month hand-drawing a thousand monkeys for a collection he never found the courage to post. That failure, not of skill, but of nerve, became the question that drives both his work and his talk: how much of what we call ordinary life is really just fear of being watched? Drawing on behavioral research, internet culture, and his own false starts, Cedric argues that the "NPC" label so many young people give themselves is not a diagnosis but a misreading, and that the theater we perform for has been empty all along.

• Eleanor Liu

  Having recently finished her secondary school journey, Eleanor devoted her adolescent years to taking part in mathematics competitions and earning numerous awards. Initially, she embarked on this rigorous path of mathematical research due to her sense of responsibility as the eldest daughter of the family: she hoped strive to live up to the expectations of family. For a long time, she has been trapped in this set of pre written life scripts, she judges her own value by whether she can meet the expectations of others. Her thoughts underwent a profound shift after observing her grandmother abandon decades of familiar farming habits and starting over from scratch. This firsthand experience is the core of her speech: everyone is the only protagonist in their own life. She believes that all the expectations of the outside world and the eyes of others are just NPCs in life; We all have the ability to break free from established frameworks and shape a life that truly belongs to ourselves.
