An Associate Professor of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and Fellowship Program Supervisor at Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr. Adnan is not only a distinguished physician but also a man of boundless curiosity. Beyond medicine, his world is filled with art, design, and space exploration, palaeontology, as well as a deep fascination with motorsport, architecture, science, military history, aviation, cinema, animation and filmmaking. His journey reminds us that passion has no boundaries and that the legacies we leave are often born at the intersection of science, creativity, and imagination.
Dr. Sassi Malik Sher
Civil Servant
Breaking barriers is in her bloodline. Born into a family where strength was never defined by sons but by five brilliant daughters, Dr. Sassi Sher Malik has carried forward the legacy of resilience and achievement. Together with her sisters, famously known as the Sher Sisters. She made history by excelling in the Central Superior Services (CSS) exams, proving that determination and hard work rewrite narratives. From her MBBS at KMU to joining the ML&CG 46th CTP and now managing the Civil Services Institute, Dr. Sassi continues to inspire with her dedication to public service and women’s rights advocacy.
Jawad Sharif
Film Maker & National Geographic Explorer
An award-winning filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer, Jawad has dedicated his craft to challenging the narratives we often choose to ignore. As a TED Fellow and alumnus of UCLA, the Swedish Institute, and IfA, he brings a global perspective to storytelling, using cinema as a bridge between people, culture, and the environment. Through films like Indus Blues and many others, he has preserved fading traditions, spotlighted unheard voices, and shown us that stories aren’t just reflections of society, they are legacies we leave behind.
Misbah Ul Haq
Former International Cricketer and Coach
Few names in Pakistan cricket carry the weight of resilience and leadership quite like Misbah-ul-Haq. We remember him at Lord’s in 2016, saluting the pitch after a match-winning century, a gesture that became a symbol of discipline, determination, and Pakistan’s proud comeback. From guiding the team through uncertain times to uniting a generation of players with calm leadership, Misbah’s journey has been about more than just cricket. Ranked 18th in CSS and now serving in the Pakistan Administrative Service (49th CTP), Muhammad Usman Arif embodies perseverance, discipline, and the spirit of public service. From earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering at UET Lahore to taking on the responsibilities of Assistant Commissioner, Mehrabpur, Naushahro Feroze, Sindh, his journey reflects a commitment to growth, excellence, and service to the people of Pakistan.
