Under this year’s theme, “Unmute,” we aim to spotlight untold stories, overlooked perspectives, and groundbreaking ideas from individuals who are reshaping our communities in quiet but powerful ways. The event will feature a diverse lineup of speakers from a range of fields including technology, education, culture, sustainability, mental health, and social impact. Through thought-provoking talks, live performances, and meaningful conversations, TEDxEtTagammo creates a platform where unheard voices are amplified and where the audience is inspired to listen — and act. Hosted in a modern, inclusive venue that supports connection and creativity, TEDxEtTagammo promises to be an immersive experience that challenges assumptions, celebrates diversity, and invites attendees to rethink what it means to be truly heard.

    Rahab Hamed is an accomplished Egyptian flutist who began her musical journey at the Conservatoire – Academy of Arts in Cairo at the age of nine. Excelling as one of the top graduates in the flute department, she later joined the Cairo Symphony Orchestra at the Egyptian Opera House. Rahab continued her studies in the United States at Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and pursued postgraduate and PhD studies at the Institute of Art Criticism, Academy of Arts in Cairo. She has performed in prestigious cultural, diplomatic, and international events in Cairo and appeared on several music and cultural TV programs where she was honored for her contributions. Today, Rahab performs both as a soloist and alongside her husband, singer Eyad El Sherif, in a unique duet that blends art and life on stage. Coming from a deeply artistic family, she is the niece of Egyptian trumpeter Sami El Bably and the daughter of a leading artist at Egypt’s Balloon Theatre, Ministry of Culture.
