In his honorary and voluntary roles as the FIT India Cycling Ambassador for Assam and Meghalaya, Bicycle Mayor of Guwahati (an honorary title bestowed by the Netherlands-based organization BYCS in 2018) and the city's Walk-ability Correspondent (an honorary role under the Poland based Pedestrian Space's GWCN - Global Walkability Correspondents Network), he works toward making Guwahati a more pedestrian and cycling-friendly city. He regularly commutes on cycle and walks and also advocates for it through writing, speaking engagements, and organizing events and campaigns.

*Writam Changkakoti* is a multi-talented musician born on August 14, 1991, in Tezpur, Assam. He is a skilled Tabla player, synthesizer, pianist, and guitarist who has learned from renowned maestros. Writam has released two albums, "Writam's Jyoti" (2005) and "Black Shining" (2006), and has scored music for a short film. He has worked with various bands and currently plays keyboard for Shankuraj Konwar. Apart from music, Writam has excelled academically, graduating with a major in English Literature and completing his Master's degree. He has received numerous awards, including the Jyoti Award, Young Achievers Award, and Outstanding Individual Award, recognising his contributions to music and academics.
