  • Anuj Malik

    Anuj Malik is a senior at Emerson High School who is passionate about service, leadership, and community advocacy. Growing up practicing Sikhism, Anuj has been significantly influenced by the principle of seva, or selfless service, which emphasizes helping others without expecting recognition or reward. Through volunteering in his community and organizing service initiatives, Anuj has seen firsthand how small acts of kindness can have a profound and meaningful impact. Anuj’s talk focuses on the idea that the simple act of serving others can ignite the “spark within,” inspiring individuals to lead with empathy and realize that even the smallest action can become the most powerful force for change.

  • Divya Viswanath

    Divya Viswanath is a senior at Emerson High School with a strong interest in technology and how it can be used to improve people’s everyday lives. In her talk, she explores how the overwhelming number of choices we face today can influence the way we make decisions. By connecting concepts such as Hick’s Law and decision fatigue, she discusses how an excess of options can slow decision-making in areas including technology, consumer behavior, and everyday life.

  • Ivy Liu

    Ivy is a fourth-grade student who loves singing, storytelling, and trying new ideas. She started GH Mochi Magazine, a student newspaper created with her classmates, and enjoys turning small ideas into fun projects that bring people together. In her talk, “Success Begins the Moment You Start,” Ivy shares how simple moments—like raising her hand in class or starting a magazine with friends—taught her that success doesn’t come from being perfect. It comes from having the courage to begin.

  • Nitya Ajjampudi

    Nitya Ajjampudi is a Junior at Lebanon Trail High School. She is an active member in theatre and mock trial and likes to spend her time cooking and being with her friends. She is extremely passionate about bringing awareness to women’s health and education, and hopes to pursue a future in social justice.
