TEDxJSS International School, operating under the theme "Breaking Silence: Voices That Need to Be Heard," serves as a platform to honour narratives that defy silence and illuminate concealed truths. It highlights individuals who elect to articulate their views, challenge established norms, and provide a voice to often overlooked perspectives. This year, we are convening a diverse group of individuals—including students, thought leaders, innovators, and agents of change—each presenting insights forged through courage, veracity, and personal experience. Their narratives underscore resilience, empathy, and the transformative power of communication in a world where numerous voices remain unacknowledged. At TEDxJSS International School, our objective extends beyond merely disseminating ideas; we are cultivating an environment conducive to dialogue. By dismantling silence and amplifying essential voices, we endeavour to foster comprehension, stimulate discourse, and reinforce the principle that substantive change originates when individuals are prepared to speak, and others are prepared to listen.

  • Aisha Elham Assif

    Aisha Elham Assif is a high school student who enjoys exploring ideas around confidence, self-growth, and the way social pressure shapes how people show up in everyday life. She is passionate about pushing beyond comfort zones and encouraging others to stop letting fear of judgment hold them back.

  • Ali Roghani

    Mr. Ali Roghani is a microbiologist with over fifteen years of experience applying scientific research to real-world environmental challenges. Incorporating advancements in the implementation of ActivePure air purification technology, originally developed from NASA research, his work focuses on the improvement of indoor environmental health. He has played a key role in bringing space-grade environmental protection into homes, workplaces, and public spaces.

  • Bijal Mehta

    A corporate pioneer with extensive knowledge in technology, sales, and management, Bijal Metha is a member of Toastmasters International. Beyond her career accomplishments, she is a passionate confectioner and yoga enthusiast who infuses creativity, equilibrium, and mindfulness into all aspects of life.

  • Divyam Varma

    Divyam Varma is a student leader motivated by impact, responsibility, and curiosity. He has held major leadership roles including Head Boy and Executive Director of TEDxJSSPrivateSchoolYouth 2025. A creative innovator, he was named Junk Kouture Abu Dhabi Designer of the Year 2022, and his work has been featured in regional and international media. He has also earned academic honors such as the Mabrook Gulf Toppers Award and the High Achievers Award, reflecting a strong commitment to excellence.

  • Eric James Abraham

    Eric James is a driven student, speaker, and young leader passionate about questioning assumptions and exploring ideas beyond the classroom. Deeply involved in debates, conferences, sports, and student initiatives, he believes that real growth begins where certainty ends. Eric values combining curiosity with courage embracing confusion, asking difficult questions, and turning uncertainty into insight.

  • Govindrao Naik

    Mr. Govindrao Naik is the CEO of JSS Institutions, Dubai, a Chartered Accountant by profession and an educationist by passion, having 26 years of experience in finance, taxation, and regulatory leadership. Since 2021, he has led the JSS Group’s expansion in Dubai, driving growth across school and higher education.

  • Samir Geepee

    Samir Geepee believes that clarity cannot be given, it must be discovered. As the creator and facilitator of The Clarity Game™, he helps leaders and teams see what’s hidden and have conversations that transform them into high-performing teams. He also works with individuals at career crossroads, helping those who feel stuck gain clarity, explore possibilities, and take bold next step, turning uncertainty into action and impact.

  • Shubhan Naik

    Shubhan Naik is a student speaker and critical thinker who examines how educational, digital, and social systems shape which voices are amplified and which are overlooked. With a strong focus on questioning assumptions, he actively engages himself in leadership and public speaking.

  • Sivananthan Perumal

    Mr. Sivananthan Perumal is a Solution Architect with 25+ years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in Solution Architecture, Client Engagement, Product Development and Implementation in various IT domains. He is passionate about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on human life.

  • Sridhar Rao

    A storyteller, humorist, and devoted father, Sridhar Rao is a seasoned project management leader in the oil and gas sector. He has a profound understanding of human behavior, relationships, and the significance of communication in daily life through his years of experience managing diverse teams, parenting a teenager, and navigating professional and cultural obstacles. His viewpoint on leadership, empathy, and personal development has been influenced by his experiences, both successful and hard-earned.
