Angela Shy
Speaker and Storyteller
Angie is a speaker and storyteller whose journey through addiction, recovery, and reinvention fuels her mission to redefine mental health care as civic responsibility. Her TEDx talk explores how minimizing our need for mental health care doesn’t just harm us — it harms the people we love and the strangers we interact with. She shows how hyper‑independence has become the biggest barrier to healing, and why caring for our mental health isn’t self‑indulgence but civic responsibility. When we heal ourselves, we help heal the world.
Corey Rich
Award-winning Director and Photographer
Corey Rich is an award-winning director and photographer, a best-selling author, and a global storyteller who has spent nearly 30 years documenting the world's best climbers and boldest adventurers. A Nikon Ambassador and co-founder of Novus Select, his work has appeared in National Geographic and The New York Times and powered global campaigns for Apple, Google, and Patagonia. In his TEDx talk he shares lessons from a nontraditional career spent documenting elite athletes, leaders, and creatives in extreme environments, as well as what a life in pursuit of adventure and storytelling has taught him about success — on the wall, in the workplace, and in life.
Maxwell Brodie
Climate-tech and Aviation Founder
Maxwell Brodie is a climate-tech and aviation founder reshaping society’s ability to respond to climate-driven disasters. As CEO of Rain, he leads the development of next-generation autonomous flight systems that enable firefighters to respond to ignitions in minutes. Bringing a rare blend of personal wildfire experience, hard-tech leadership, and an optimistic, systems-level view of the future, Max offers a compelling lens on how autonomy, aviation, and abundance thinking can shift global climate outcomes. His inspiration for Rain traces back to his family’s personal experience of the 2003 Okanagan Mountain Park Firestorm, which triggered the largest mass evacuations in Canada since World War II. A serial entrepreneur, he has founded successful companies in both the aviation and education sectors.
Natasha Lukasiewich
Healthcare Executive, Author, Educator, and Creator of Gritsilience
Dr. Natasha Lukasiewich, DNP, MSN, MBA, LNC, RN, is a healthcare executive, author, educator, and creator of Gritsilience, a framework exploring how we sustain ourselves while navigating high-stakes environments. For more than two decades, Natasha has worked across emergency and critical care, flight nursing, search and rescue, rural healthcare, and healthcare leadership. Her career has placed her alongside people during some of life’s most difficult moments—and led her to question a familiar assumption: Is resilience really about how much we can endure? Natasha’s talk explores what happens beneath the surface of those we often perceive as the strongest. Her approach to Gritsilience centers on three practices—Awareness, Recovery, and Connection—challenging the idea that strength means simply pushing through.
