• Major Gen (Dr) Yashpal Singh Mor

  Major General (Dr) Yashpal Singh Mor, SM is a distinguished Indian Army veteran, leader, author, and motivational speaker. Coming from a proud military lineage, he was commissioned into the elite Guards regiment after training at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. During his long and decorated military career, he led critical operations in challenging terrains, including counter-terrorism duties in Jammu and Kashmir. For his courage and leadership in action, he was awarded the Sena Medal. He also represented India as a peacekeeper in a United Nations mission overseas and later went on to command important formations in strategically significant regions, including Ladakh. An accomplished scholar as well as a soldier, he has pursued advanced studies in defence and strategy, with deep expertise in nuclear doctrine and national security. After retiring from active service, he shifted his focus to nation-building through education, leadership mentoring, environmental work, and youth development. Today, he is widely respected as a speaker and mentor who inspires people to live with purpose, discipline, and courage. Through his work with social and environmental initiatives, including the Save the Himalayas Foundation, he continues to serve the nation—this time by shaping minds, values, and future leaders.
