TEDxOak Park Youth

Since 2015, TEDxOakPark has organized events designed to spark conversation and connection in our community by combining engaging speakers, recorded TED Talks, and networking. Our newest movement is focused on sharing ideas about and for youth in Oak Park and our surrounding communities. 📅 When: February 7, 2026 📍 Where: Little Theater, Oak Park & River Forest High School 🎫 Tickets: Students $10 | Adults $25 On February 7, 2026, we will host our first-ever TEDxOakParkYouth event at Oak Park and River Forest High School (OPRFHS). This event is designed to amplify youth and emerging voices and to give students meaningful opportunities to engage with ideas, leadership, and community storytelling. The program includes eight speakers from four Chicago-land high schools and one OPRFHS alumnus. One of our speakers was just named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. What makes TEDxOakParkYouth unique is that students are involved not only as speakers but across all aspects of the event. High school students are contributing to marketing, public relations, planning, and video production, gaining real-world experience while helping bring the event to life.
