An intellectually curious IB Year 1 student, she enjoys blending perspectives across disciplines, whether in literature, economics, or football. Her wide-ranging interests fuel her critical thinking and creativity, allowing her to approach ideas from multiple angles.
Kushagra Dubey
Kushagra is an aspiring student of law and passionate enthusiast of all things historical and philosophical. He regularly loses himself in hour-long daydreams about topics of any kind, and he's come up on stage to share some of these thoughts with the audience.
Michelle Jiffy
Michelle is an aspiring data science student whose long-term goal is to work as a quant. But beyond numbers and algorithms, she is deeply passionate about debate, writing, and exploring the ethical questions that often go unasked. While scrolling through social media, she noticed a growing trend that both fascinated and concerned her: how our online interactions subtly shape perceptions, values, and even our morals. In her talk, she explores this influence not as a set of abstract theories but as a lived experience that everyone can relate to. Michelle hopes her speech sparks awareness, encouraging viewers to look beyond the surface of their screens and reflect on the deeper impact of social media on society.
Piyu Nargund
Piyu is a high school student who loves exploring the mysteries of time, relativity, and human perception, passions sparked in part by her favorite film, Interstellar. She enjoys blending science and philosophy to question how we see reality, and she’s equally passionate about public speaking and sharing ideas that make people think differently. Outside of academics and big ideas, you’ll often find her spending time with her dog, who reminds her to stay grounded in the present even as she dreams about the universe.
Pranav Bayari
Pranav Bayari is a student passionate about uncovering the hidden patterns that connect mathematics to the real world. His TEDx talk explores the paradoxes of finance, from flash crashes to meme stocks, making complex ideas accessible through relatable stories. Beyond academics, he leads Sending Sunshines in Singapore and helps run his school’s Physics Society, inspiring curiosity in younger students.

You’d most often find Samaira tackling physics problems with a pistachio latte in hand or binge-watching TED-Ed videos at double speed. An aspiring engineer, she also moonlights as a filmmaker, actress, and avid music lover. Her artistic pursuits serve as her medium to raise awareness about eating disorders and promote a better understanding of mental health across diverse demographics. Her TEDx talk is one she’s loved putting together, and she hopes it marks just the beginning of her journey in contributing to this important conversation.
Tvisha Agarwal
Tvisha is an aspiring environmental engineer with a passion for public speaking and a drive to share her ideas, philosophies, and personal reflections with others. Having navigated a variety of life experiences—from overcoming the challenges of a toxic dance community to grappling with the pressures of social media—Tvisha draws strength and insight from the trials many teenage girls face. These formative experiences have played a key role in shaping her identity and fueling her desire to connect with others on a deeper level. Beyond her academic and expressive pursuits, Tvisha is an avid athlete who finds joy in running, swimming, and playing badminton.
