TEDx Jagannath University — Rewired Perspective (13 November 2025) A Historic Beginning at Jagannath University TEDx Jagannath University marked a historic milestone this year as we successfully hosted our very first TEDx event at Jagannath University on 13 November, held at the iconic Zahir Raihan Cultural Center, Sutrapur. With the theme “Rewired Perspective,” the event brought fresh ideas, powerful stories, and transformative insights to our campus community. This inaugural edition featured 10 inspiring speakers from diverse backgrounds, each sharing ideas that challenged conventional thinking and encouraged the audience to see the world through a renewed lens. Their talks touched on innovation, personal growth, social change, technology, and the future of learning, reflecting the true spirit of TED’s mission: Ideas Worth Spreading. One of the major strengths of TEDx Jagannath University 2025 was the vibrant organizing team. Students from 21 different departments came together to make the event possible, with a major contribution from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Their dedication, sleepless nights, and collaborative effort shaped this event into a memorable success. We were also honored to have 10 advisors from multiple departments, whose guidance ensured that every segment of the program met TED’s global standards and represented our university with pride. Beyond the talks, the event featured a delightful cultural segment, including soulful Qawwali and musical performances. These performances brought color, emotion, and cultural richness to the day, making the experience even more enjoyable for everyone present. The energy inside the hall was incredible, with around 100 audience members and 50 organizers, advisors, and speakers creating a vibrant gathering of thinkers, learners, and dreamers. The audience engagement, applause, and feedback proved how much this event meant to the JnU community. TEDx Jagannath University 2025 was not just an event, it was the beginning of a movement. A movement that encourages students to think boldly, collaborate deeply, and bring their ideas to life. We are proud to have started this journey at JnU, and this is only the beginning. Thank you to everyone who supported, participated, performed, and believed in this event. Together, we have truly rewired perspectives.
