  • Alexandra Bech Gjørv

    Alexandra is President and CEO of SINTEF, one of Europe's largest independent, applied research institutes. Alexandra has a long term leadership career in Norsk Hydro and Equinor behind her, spanning New Energy Solutions, Automotive and serving as Executive Vice President of HR, HSE and CSR. She chairs the board of Statkraft and has previously held non-executive board member positions in Technip SA in France, as well as the Norwegian companies Hafslund, Eidsiva (chair), Schibsted, NRK and Norske Skog. Alexandra is a qualified laywer who spent five years as a partner at the Hjort law firm. She chaired the government-appointed 22 July Commission following the terrorist attacks on the Government center in Oslo and the massacre on the island of Utøya in 2011. She has chaired and contributed to a number of other white papers.

  • Ángel Méndez

    Ángel Méndez is a student at UWCRCN, coming from El Salvador.

  • Leslie Nöelle Ndikumana

    Leslie Nöelle Ndikumana is a student at UWCRCN, originally from Tanzania and Burundi, while living in Norway. She pictures a career within clinical psychology

  • Maya Atmani

    Maya Atmani, a student at UWCRCN. She is originally from Morocco but has been living in Colombia for most of her life; she was homeschooled her whole life before attending UWCRCN. Maya's journey has been anything but conventional, she spent four years traveling South America in an RV, experiencing a nomadic lifestyle that shaped the way she sees the world.

  • Neja Strazar

    Neja, a student at UWCRCN, is from the Slovenian countryside. She envisions a future as a psychologist.

  • Per Klevnäs

    Per Klevnäs has worked internationally with resource and climate topics as a consultant and researcher since the early 2000s. His work has been extensively used by the by the international Panel on Climate Change, the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate, the World Economic Forum, the Energy Transitions Commission, the European Commission, and other international institutions. He co-founded Material Economics, a leading consultancy on resource topics, and is currently a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he helps companies set the right direction in the face of new business requirements and opportunities connected with energy, resource and sustainability topics.
