TEDxRiaraUniversity is a bold gathering of thinkers, innovators, creators and changemakers exploring the ideas shaping the future of Africa and the world. Under the theme Catalysts of Change, this independently organized TEDx event brings together voices from technology, leadership, sustainability, mental health, entrepreneurship, governance, artificial intelligence, storytelling and social innovation to challenge perspectives and inspire meaningful action. Hosted by the student community at Riara University in Nairobi, TEDxRiaraUniversity creates a space where emerging and established leaders engage in conversations that matter, from reimagining urban systems and transforming agriculture through fintech to redefining empowerment, reshaping African narratives and building inclusive innovation ecosystems. This year’s speakers represent a dynamic mix of industry leaders, ecosystem builders, researchers, creatives and advocates whose work is driving impact across Africa and beyond. Their stories and ideas reflect a generation that is not simply adapting to change but actively shaping it. More than an event, TEDxRiaraUniversity is a platform for curiosity, connection and possibility. It is designed to spark dialogue, inspire collaboration and leave audiences with ideas that challenge assumptions, ignite ambition and encourage action long after the stage lights dim.
