• Erin Lancin

  Erin Lancin is the Captain of the La Salle Debate League and the Tournament Director of the recent Archer Schools Asian Parliamentary, which concluded last May 17-18, 2025. As a National Semifinalist in NASHDC 2024 and a National Octofinalist in PSDC 2025, she has also earned the title of 3rd Best Open Speaker in SLIDE UP 2025 held in UP Los Baños last April. Beyond her list of debate accolades, she served as a student panelist for ALPAS: the DLSU-SHS Term 2 Special Elections, and is currently working on two advocacy-based projects in Business Simulation and Service Learning for the welfare of Jeepney Operators and a Housing Cooperative based in Caloocan, respectively. As a TEDx Youth Speaker, she strives for excel-lancey by redefining the perception of liberation by advocating for authentic living through small, empowering decisions. As a voice shaped by love, her words aim to ignite change from within.

• Gia Abao

  Gia Abao is a content creator and an entrepreneur. She is best known for her educational content on public speaking and research writing. She also posts content showcasing her passion for the arts through her entrepreneurial journey with Touchic, a brand that aims to empower women with all-weather wear, timeless, and skin-friendly accessories. With the growth of her social media platforms, she aspires to empower Filipinos to overcome their speech anxiety and help them build the confidence to find their voice.

• Gum Cruz

  Gum Cruz, A Barber, Barbershop Owner, and the First Filipino Southeast Asia Barbering Educator. A graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Gum Cruz began his career not in the hospitality industry but as a banker. While in the corporate world, he started two small businesses—eventually leaving banking to build a brick-and-mortar for them. That shop would unexpectedly evolve into a barbershop. What started as business became passion. He picked up the clippers, became a barber, and pursued mastery—training in two top UK barbering academies. His dedication led him to become the first Filipino Southeast Asia barbering educator, now on a mission to uplift the Philippine barbering industry. Along the way, he fell in love with public speaking. Today, he uses both the blade and the stage to inspire transformation. His unorthodox path shaped who he is—and through it, he aims to empower others to chase purpose over predictability.

• John Gabriel Lee

  John Gabriel Lee rhymes with adventure if you think about it hard enough, because when a novel idea or experience is brought to him, he will surely dive in headfirst into that idea! He is a current senior high school student at De La Salle University, pursuing the STEM strand. He is currently a part of the La Salle Debate League and the DLSU-SHS Commission on Student Elections. Prior to studying at the university, he graduated junior high school having won awards in documentary competitions, performed as a theater actor, and competed as a chess player. From playing sports to engaging in philosophical conversations, he is no stranger to exploring different paradigms. You can count on him to be always ready to take on and immerse himself in the wonders of different perspectives and ideas.

• JP Penuliar

  John Paul Penuliar is a licensed engineer and a supply chain professional, currently based in Singapore. Outside his daytime work, he is an Education Advocate. His passion to empower Filipino students led him to create ‘Math Videos with Sir JP’ on social media, where he teaches Math, conducts online reviews, and creates videos on scholarships and career discussions. He also started a podcast focused on student and education-relevant topics, called “The Sunny Side Podcast,” ang podcast para sa mga estudyanteng Pilipino.

• Remy Ybay

  Remy B. Ybay, Distinguished Toastmaster, is an accomplished ESL practitioner, TESOL consultant, and United States Army Veteran. Her commitment to service continues through her children, who proudly followed her footsteps into the U.S. Armed Forces. She founded Speak Your Mind English Center in Angeles City and co-founded EDT English Academy in Subic. She holds a degree in Communication Arts and a TESOL certification from ITECC. She has presented at national TESOL Conferences, lectured on TOEFL Speaking, and completed a U.S. State Department ELT course with Distinction. As a dedicated Toastmaster, Remy has served as District Program Quality Director and Club Growth Director, chartering numerous clubs. She now leads District 75 with her inspiring battlecry: "Grow Above and Beyond." Outside her professional life, Remy is an avid fan of Korean and Chinese dramas and proudly part of the global BTS ARMY—proof that lifelong learning, passion, and joy go hand in hand.
