  • Abdul Khayyum Khan

    Former IPS Officer & Advisor to The Govt. of Telangana

    A.K. Khan, a distinguished 1981-batch former IPS officer, is a figure of dual legacy: decisive law enforcement and transformative social reform. His illustrious career included key commands as Hyderabad's Police Commissioner, Managing Director of APSRTC, and Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.     Citizen Science Leader

    Ram Dayal Vaishnav is a leading Citizen Science expert and PhD Scholar who translates mass public curiosity into crucial conservation data. As Head of Citizen Science & Engagment vertical at The Naturalist School, he harnessed this belief to pioneer a monumental grassroots movement, scaling the City Nature Challenge from 20 to over 200 Indian cities and initiating year-round bioblitz programs. On the global stage, Ram helps shape policy. He serves as a Secretary for three key working groups within the Citizen Science Global Partnership, represents the youth delegation at the UN Environment Assembly and UNEP. A certified IUCN Red List Assessor, he ensures citizen data directly informs scientific assessments. He is also the founder of the Asia Nature Challenge and Education Director at CitizenScienceAsia.
